Magnum Achieves SATRA's Monumental 3000th Certification
Essex, Great Britain — In a ceremony in Great Britain, Magnum was presented with SATRA's 3000th EC-Type Examination Certification. The landmark certification was granted for three styles in Magnum's best-selling Stealth Collection: Steath II, Stealth II Side Zip and Stealth II Leather.
SATRA, a non-profit organization, is the world's leader in research and technology for consumer goods industries. Over 20 current styles of Magnum safety footwear are already certified by the agency.
An EC-Type Examination Certificate is awarded by a notified body such as SATRA to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which meets the essential health and safety requirements of European Directive 89/686/EEC (known as the PPE Directive). Certification is determined through performance testing and assessment of technical documentation associated with the product.
